Can you believe that Christmas is over? It came and went and now were looking forward to the new year, well maybe. Hope everyone has there new years resolutions picked up and good luck starting them.
The Reds have finally won a game. They havent been able to gain 3 points in the past 12 games. With injuries holding them back in the past they now have a healthy squad. Liverpool won today against Wolverhampton Wanderers who are in 15 place in the English Premier league. Liverpool is in 8th place, they havent been able to climb the ladder so their chances of finishing top four is slim to none. The Reds are 15 points behind the leader Chelsea who seems to be dominating the league.
The score was nil to nil at halftime with Liverpool missing many chances. But things seemed to connect early in the second half. Ward received his second yellow card in the 53 minute that lead Liverpool to have a man advantage. Roughly ten minutes later a GOAL for Liverpool. With a spectacular cross from Insua on the left side of the field, Steven Gerrard has a fabulous header that ended up in the right corner of the goal. One to nothing Reds. Fabio Aurelio's cross hits Yossi Benayoun and he settles the ball, makes a move and rips a shot. It was contested by the Wolves but still ended up in the back of the net. 2 - 0 Liverpool.
Liverpool receives 3 points after a home game and the Reds Fan of attendance 41,000 are all happy.

I am going to the Caps game tonite at the Verizon Center against the New Jersey Devils. Should be a shoot out between OVI and BRODUER, between Ovi's nasty slap shot and Broduer hot glove, the spectators of the game should be in for a exciting match. I will be seating 10 rows up from the ice and will be watching the game.
