Adam Cristman traded to DC United

BK's Sports
Adam Cristman was traded from the Kansas City Wizards to the D.C. United. The Wizards traded Cristman for a international roster spot through Dec 31, 2011. Adam played well in his rookie year with the New England Revolution playing in 18 games and scoring a career high 6 goals. Cristman only played 5 games for Kansas City and suffered a injury that kept out of play. Kansas City old coach, Curt Onalfo, is now the new coach for DC United and is also a UVA Alumni. Hope to see some good chemistry. Everyone is hoping for Cristman to stay healthy and have a strong season.
DC United has four other strikers on the roster, Danny Allsopp from Australia, Thabiso Khumalo from South Africa, Jaime Moreno from Bolivia (being an all-time MLS goal scorer, who just resigned with DCU), and Chris Pontius from California. Adam will be competing for a starting spot and will hopefully get some playing time when the meet Kansas City on March 27th. Jaime Moreno is a legend for DCU and is going to start his 15th year at a screaming eagle. If Cristman gets the second starting spot, he will be working with a veteran and can mentor him into a spectacular goal scorer.
DC United didnt finish last season that well with a record of 9-8-13. Overall standing of 10th place and in the Eastern Conference fourth place.
Will Be more later on MLS and DC United
